Yuchen Wu

Yuchen Wu is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Manager at Cloudflare since June 2016, leading the Pingora team for Cloudflare CDN. Prior roles at Cloudflare include Principal Engineer, where Yuchen led the development of the Cloudflare CDN and the Pingora framework, and Tech Lead for the content delivery network team, as well as Systems Engineer working on CDN software and systems across a global infrastructure. Yuchen's earlier experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at Carnegie Mellon University focusing on Internet architecture, and a Performance Engineer role at Akamai Technologies, where improvements to HTTP2 performance and stability were achieved. Yuchen holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and two degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, including a Master’s in Computer Networks and a Bachelor’s in Computer.
