Niall McHugh

Niall McHugh is an experienced SOC Analyst currently working at CloudGuard since November 2025, following a role at Telefónica Tech in a similar capacity from October 2023 to November 2025. In both positions, Niall has contributed to maintaining and troubleshooting cybersecurity systems within a Security Operations Centre, providing valuable advice and guidance to projects and stakeholders. Prior to these roles, Niall worked at SilverSky as an L1 Security Operations Centre Analyst, where responsibilities included threat identification and incident documentation. Niall's previous experience spans customer service and hospitality roles, complemented by a strong educational background, including a Postgraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity for Business and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Galway.
