Anil Prasad

Anil Prasad has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Anil currently holds the position of VP of Software Engineering - Application, Data, AI at Cloudmed, an R1 company, where they have led the architecture, design, and development of the CloudmedAI platform. This platform consists of multiple components, including data management, business logic, admin tools, and data analytics.

Prior to their current role, Anil worked at Xcel Energy as the Technology and Digital Transformation Leader. During their tenure there, they contributed to the Employee/Enterprise Mobility Transformation initiative and was responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of the EXT Framework and mobile applications for Xcel Energy plant users.

Before joining Xcel Energy, Anil served as the Director of Software, Data, and AI Engineering at UnitedHealth Group. Anil led the Next Generation Infrastructure services (NGIS) project, focusing on improving SLAs, resiliency, cost optimization, and migration to public cloud platforms.

Anil also has experience at Medtronic, where they held the role of Software and Data Engineering Leader. In this position, they were responsible for driving critical business solutions and delivery leadership in integration SOA services, as well as data and reporting solutions for various business areas.

Prior to Medtronic, Anil worked at Accenture Technology Solutions as the Global Consulting Leader for Client Solutions. Anil played a key role in establishing Accenture's Delivery Center in Bangalore, India and contributed to building the Business & Technology Consulting Services Practice for Enterprise and Integration Architecture. Additionally, they helped set up Accenture's Software Development Organization for Bausch and Lomb.

Anil's career began at Wipro Limited, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer. Anil contributed to the development of commercial software products for North American and European markets and played a crucial role in securing a multi-year engagement with Siemens AG, Germany.

Before joining Wipro Limited, Anil worked as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in the Super Computer Department. Anil'swork focused on optimizing complex, large-scale software and utilizing compute and storage resources efficiently.

Anil's first professional experience was as a Research and Development Specialist at ISRO - Indian Space Research Organisation. Here, they worked on an artificial intelligence software project and developed a reusable neural network framework for automating the diagnosis process in medical and research institutions.
