Aubrey LeBlanc has extensive work experience in the field of consumer protection and standards development. From 2001 to present, they have held various roles in different organizations. In 2001, they founded Aubrey LeBlanc Consulting Incorporated and has been the Owner and Principal Consultant since then. From 2009 to present, they have been a part of the Consumers Council of Canada, where they have held various positions such as Vice President, President, Past President, and Member. In 2013, they became the Chief Administrative Officer of the Ontario Building Officials Association (OBOA). In 2014, they joined CSA Group as Chair of the Construction and Civil Infrastructure Strategic Steering Committee (CCISSC). In 2016, they were an Advisor and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario. In 2018, they joined the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) as a Member of the National Standards Strategy Advisory Group, Chair of the Canadian Mirror Committee to ISO/COPOLCO, and a member of the Canadian Data Governance Standardization Collaborative Steering Committee. In 2020, they became a Member of the Chair's Advisory Group of the Committee on Consumer Policy of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Finally, in 2022, they will become Country Director of Canada for Cloudpermit and a Member of the Board of Advisors for AECO Innovation Lab.
Aubrey LeBlanc holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honors in Geography from Western University, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Geography and Cartography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
