Marcel Pinto

Marcel Pinto began their work experience in 1998 at Fastnet Systems as a Senior Project Co-ordinator. There, they managed multiple projects simultaneously, handled resource allocation, and provided support to Project Managers. In 2000, they transitioned to Redstone as a Project Manager before being promoted to a Senior Project Manager role in 2004. At Redstone, Marcel was responsible for delivering networking and unified communications projects, collaborating with consultancy and design teams, and supporting sales efforts. In 2013, they joined Insight as a Technology Solutions Senior Project Manager, overseeing solution-based projects for various customers, including international deployments and infrastructure changes. Marcel then moved to CAE Technology Services in 2017 as a Senior Project Manager. Marcel joined Cloudreach in 2018 as a Cloud Enablement Manager before being promoted to a Senior Programme/Project Delivery Manager position in 2020. At Cloudreach, they focused on delivering AWS and Azure based programmes to enterprise clients, managed public cloud platform development projects, and led agile delivery teams. Marcel possesses certifications in AWS, Azure, PMP, and Scrum.

Marcel Pinto obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Southampton, which they attended from 1994 to 1997. Along with their formal education, Marcel has acquired several additional certifications. These include AI-900 Azure AI Fundamentals and DP-900 Azure Data Fundamentals from Microsoft, obtained in December 2022. Marcel also holds the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services, acquired in January 2022. In 2019, Marcel obtained the AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft and the AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. Marcel further expanded their skillset by obtaining the Professional Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org in December 2018. Marcel also has certifications in PRINCE2 from APMG International and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, although specific information regarding the months and years of obtaining these certifications is unavailable.
