Abdus Saboor

Abdus Saboor has over 5 years of experience in the technology industry. Abdus is currently working as a Cloud Platform Engineer at Cloudscaler since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Nasstar as a Cloud and Integration Engineer from August to October 2021.

Abdus previously worked at KCOM for more than 5 years in various roles. As a Cloud and Integration Engineer from January 2020 to August 2021, they were responsible for automating and orchestrating Forgerock IAM workloads on AWS. Abdus utilized AWS services such as Cloudwatch, EventBridge, Lambdas, and S3 for monitoring, alerting, and security implementations.

Before their role as a Cloud and Integration Engineer, Abdus worked as an API Engineer from July 2017 to January 2020. Abdus was part of a team building modern diameter-based online charging applications for a large telecoms client. Abdus also held the position of Graduate Developer at KCOM from April 2016 to July 2017, where they gained experience in Java-based enterprise applications and received training in Spring framework and Spock testing.

Prior to joining KCOM, Abdus worked as a Graduate Developer at Smart421 (now called KCOM) from January to April 2016.

Abdus has additional experience as the Creative Head at The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) at B.S. Abdur Rahman University from August 2013 to August 2014. Abdus also served as the Director of International Committee at Rotaract Club of Madras Mount (Crescent Wing) from August 2011 to August 2013, where they focused on charity events, donation drives, and environmental initiatives such as tree planting.

Abdus Saboor holds a Master's Degree (First) in Advanced Computing Sciences from the University of East Anglia, which they pursued from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree (First) in Information Technology from BSA Crescent Institute of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2014. Abdus Saboor's high school education was at Indian School Sohar, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Informatics Practices from 2006 to 2010.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Abdus Saboor has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Abdus has been certified as an Apigee Trained API Engineer and an Apigee Trained API Operations Engineer by Google Cloud - Minnesota in 2020. Abdus also holds certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2019, RedHat Certified Sales Specialist - Middleware Application Development (JBoss Fuse) from Red Hat in 2018, CA Certified Expert API Management Pre-Sales and Technical from Broadcom Inc. in 2017, CA (Layer7) Proven Professional - API Management and Security from Broadcom Inc. in 2016, and Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle in 2016. Additionally, Abdus Saboor achieved the Business English Certificate (Cambridge ESOL): Best Young Speaker in South Asia 2011 from Cambridge University Press in 2011. Most recently, they obtained AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional and AWS Certified Developer - Associate certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021 and 2020 respectively.
