Alasdair Hodge

Alasdair Hodge has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Alasdair started their career at Agilent Technologies in 1997 as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until 2003. Alasdair then joined Intelligent Finance as a Senior Developer from November 2003 to May 2004. Alasdair then worked at Tadpole Technology as a Senior Developer from May 2004 to October 2004.

After that, they worked at 3Com as a Senior Developer in 2004 and then joined Critical Blue as a Senior Developer from July 2005 to January 2009. In 2009, they briefly worked as a Software Developer at oneDrum before joining Cloudsoft Corporation.

At Cloudsoft Corporation, Alasdair held various roles starting as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2009 to September 2012. Alasdair then became a Lead Engineer from September 2010 to November 2012. In January 2012, they were promoted to the position of Principal Engineer. Their last role at Cloudsoft Corporation was as the CTO of AgriNOW Cloud Solutions, where they were responsible for the architecture and development of cloud and mobile apps for fresh-produce supply chains. Alasdair managed a 3-person development team and also engaged in customer and investor outreach. Alasdair used technologies such as Amazon EC2, Java, SQL, MVC web tier, JQuery, Bootstrap, Backbone, Android, scrum, and domain-driven design during their time at Cloudsoft Corporation.

Alasdair Hodge pursued their undergraduate education in Computer and Electronic Systems at the University of Strathclyde from 1993 to 1997, earning a BEng (hon) degree. In September 2019, they obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
