Mike Berry

As Chief Technical Operations Officer (COO-Tech Ops), Dr. Mike Berry is an accomplished strategic and technical leader with almost 30 years of industrial experience and has a strong foundation in moving projects from pre-clinical development phase through to commercial stages. He has extensive experience in development, validation, scale-up and manufacturing of biologic products. Before joining Clover Biopharmaceuticals, Mike was Senior Consultant, Technical Operations, at BioTechLogic, Inc., providing a wide range of CMC-focused services to vaccine, biologic, oligonucleotide, gene, and cell therapy companies. Prior to that Mike was Vice President, Process Development and Manufacturing Sciences at Dynavax Technologies where he was responsible for the CMC sections of the HEPLISAV-B BLA. He also served in senior roles at Portola Pharmaceuticals, Inc. South San Francisco, CA and Novartis Diagnostics, Emeryville, CA, USA. He has been an invited member of review panels for HIV vaccine grants for NIH/DAIDS and the Government of Canada.
