Wei Tan

Dr. Wei Tan serves as the Head of China Research and External Collaboration at Clover. Dr. Tan has 13 years of experiences in preclinical and translational research. Before joining Clover, Dr. Tan was the Chief Scientific Officer of Coherent Biopharma, where he was in charge of establishing drug screening and evaluation platforms and streamlining the company’s drug discovery and clinical development processes. Dr. Tan was also the Chief Scientific Officer for Biosion, where he was responsible for formulating the R&D strategy and building a diverse pipeline. Dr. Tan also extended its research capabilities to pharmacology, protein engineering and preclinical development.

Dr. Tan holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio.
