Jason Siegel

Jason Siegel, FSA, MAAA, is a Principal & Actuary for Direct Contracting at Clover Health since August 2017. Prior to this, Jason served as a Senior Consulting Actuary at Wakely Consulting Group, focusing on Medicaid rate reviews, ACA rate filings, and modeling for risk transfer payments. Jason's career started as a Consulting Actuary at Milliman, where numerous predictive models were developed for rate-setting and revenue optimization. Experience includes successful feasibility studies that secured $542 million in federal funding for CO-OPs, advising on the interface between tech startups and health entities, and applying machine learning to large medical datasets. Jason began the professional journey at Trustmark Insurance Company as a Senior Actuarial Associate, significantly streamlining financial processes. Jason holds a degree in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
