Rylan Larsen

Rylan Larsen, PhD, is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in healthcare and neuroscience. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Clover Health since October 2022, Rylan previously held leadership roles including Director of Data Science at Olive, where responsibilities included directing a data science team to optimize healthcare pathways and develop natural language processing initiatives. Earlier positions include Senior Data Scientist at KenSci, where contributions involved designing production machine learning models to analyze healthcare costs and outcomes, and Scientist II at the Allen Institute, focusing on data analysis of neuroscience data. Rylan holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Physiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Data Science certification from the University of Washington. Additionally, Rylan's diverse background includes experience at the NIH, teaching roles, and technical positions in laboratory settings.
