Carmel McMahon

Carmel McMahon has a strong work experience in the field of risk management and information security. Carmel currently works at CLS Group as an Information Security Risk Management professional since August 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Director, Operations & Technology for the Americas, Risk Management Office at MUFG from August 2017 to July 2019. Carmel also worked as the Head of Third Party Risk Management at Investors Bank from May 2016 to August 2017. Carmel has a long tenure at Morgan Stanley where they held multiple roles including Executive Director, Head of Information Security Client Coverage from 2013 to 2016, Executive Director, Global Business Unit Information Security Officer from 2012 to 2016, Executive Director, Senior Risk Officer from 2011 to 2013, Executive Director, COO for the Information Security Office from 2008 to 2011, and Executive Director, Operational Risk Technology Program Manager from 2005 to 2008. Carmel started their career as a Senior Manager at BearingPoint in 2004 and worked as a Technology Consultant at Pierce Technology Corporation from 2003 to 2004. Carmel also held the position of Executive Director, Head of Data Management Group at Morgan Stanley from 2000 to 2002 and Vice President roles in distributed application support and technology client coverage at Morgan Stanley from 1997 to 1999.

Carmel McMahon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Finance from Pace University - Lubin School of Business. Additionally, Carmel obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from Manhattan College. Carmel has also obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in June 2011.
