Kevin Garvey

Kevin Garvey's work experience includes various roles in the IT security field. Kevin began their career as a Futures Operations Associate Intern at Bridgewater Associates in 2007. In 2008, they worked as an Inside Sales Specialist at Flagship Networks. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Technical Support Specialist at Sacred Heart University, providing IT assistance to students, faculty, and staff. In 2013, they joined the New York Power Authority as a Cyber Security Systems Analyst, where they developed and implemented information security procedures and conducted vulnerability assessments. In 2015, they joined J.P. Morgan as a Global Technology Associate in Cyber Security. Kevin then moved to WarnerMedia, where they held the roles of Senior Cyber Security Analyst and later Manager of Threats and Incident Response. In 2018, they became a SANS Associate Instructor at SANS Institute. Currently, they are working as a US IT Security Manager at CLS Group.

Kevin Garvey completed their education at Sacred Heart University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Administration between 2004 and 2008. Kevin later pursued a Master of Science in Computer Information Science with a focus on Cyber Security at the same university from 2012 to 2013.
