Mike Burrows

Mike Burrows has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mike is currently working as the Co-Founder and Business Partnerships Manager at Formation Games, where they are involved in the creation, building, and sale of a free-to-play, play and own Football Ownership Game called CLUB. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2021, Mike was a Co-Founder at FIVEYARDS.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Mike worked as a Consultant at EOSE - European Observatoire of Sport and Employment from 2013 to 2015. Mike also held the position of Head of Strategy and Policy at SkillsActive from 2004 to 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at LTA from 2008 to 2010 and as a Lecturer in Sociology of Sport at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2003 to 2004.

Mike Burrows earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science from Loughborough University between 1999 and 2003. Mike then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Sociology of Sport from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, specializing in the years 2003 to 2004.
