Resource Planner at Clúid Housing Role Overview:

  • Position: Resource Planner
  • Reporting to: Planning Team Manager
  • Location: 159-161 Sheriff Street Upper, Dublin 1
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: €32,583 - €44,802 (depending on experience)

The Property Services Department was created in January 2016 and is responsible for ensuring our customers continue to live in high quality homes through the delivery of comprehensive and effective asset management services. Whilst our focus may be the “bricks and mortar”, we recognise the need to design our services to meet our current and future customers’ needs, offering choice where possible and ensuring that our tenants and their families always enjoy warm, safe, and affordable homes.

The Department has a national Repairs Team (Clúid Works), supporting four regionally based repairs trade teams delivering a comprehensive repairs service across country.  This team works alongside the Building Surveying Team, which is also split geographically, and manages the planned and cyclical programmes of work and supports the New Business Team in bringing new properties into management.

The Clúid Works Team includes a back-office planning team and multi-skilled trade operatives that will ensure we meet our goal for our customer of the right repair, right time, first time. You can find out more about Clúid Works by clicking here.

Who We're Looking For:

As Resource Planner you will have responsibility for the daily coordination of resources within the Clúid repairs service ensuring continuous delivery of our purpose “right repair, right time, first time” and Scope of Services which details our repair obligations.

You will have a strong commitment to safeguarding the reputation of Clúid, always presenting Clúid in a positive fashion.  You will continuously strive to deliver the highest quality customer service.

Reporting to: Planning Team Manager

Key responsibilities

Customer Centric

·Responsible for ensuring all repairs are completed in accordance with our Purpose “right repair, right time, first time” by delivering an efficient in-house repairs service ranging from responsive, voids, subcontracting and out of hours repairs.  This will be achieved by actively planning the best resource to meet our customers demand. 

·Responsible for the daily coordination of resources within the Clúid repairs service.

Caring

· Deal with all customers in a professional and courteous manner.

· Go above and beyond for our customers and their repair requests

· Use our resources to ensure our customers get the best service possible

Responsibility

·Utilise the appropriate resources to effectively minimise travel times and non-productive time while maximising jobs per man per day.

· Support and actively contribute to a learning environment through individual and team reflections.

·Build confidence and trust in the Clúid brand both internally and externally.

Financial acumen & Data Management

· Use measures defined in the repairs policy to monitor the performance of the work.

· Review system measures to educate others and improve the system on a continual basis.

·Positively support the learning and delivery of “Clúid Way” by promoting an open, honest and transparent culture which considers the customer at the heart of every decision being made.

Collaboration

· Effectively support and promote Health, Safety and Welfare awareness to ensure safe working and driving conditions at all times whilst taking personal responsibility of your own Health, Safety and Welfare.

· Build and maintain effective working relationship with key external stakeholders to support the delivery of the service.

· Liaise with other internal departments and external contractors to ensure correct work is undertaken by correct individuals.

·Undertake Servicing Contracts and plan delivery of same while maintaining Responsive Repair obligations.

·  In conjunction with the Field Supervisor, ensure staff have the required PPE to carry out their roles in a safe manner

Essential

  • T Skills – to intermediate level

  • Experience with Resource Planning/Scheduling Software
