Angela Hughes has over 20 years of experience in the field of human resources. Angela is currently the HR Director at Cluttons, where they provide a wide range of property services and focuses on promoting employee development. Prior to this, Angela worked as a Consultant, offering freelance HR consultancy services to start-ups and SMEs. Angela also served as the HR Director at Grimshaw for 11 years, where they provided HR vision and direction to the partners and practiced and worked on international HR challenges. Angela has also worked as an HR Consultant at The British Museum, an HR Advisor at SEPA, and an HR Manager at Sanmina-SCI. With a background in recruitment, Angela started their career as a Recruitment Officer at Jacobs Babtie, where they were responsible for high-volume recruitment and resource planning.

Angela Hughes received their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of the West of Scotland, graduating between 2003 and 2006. Angela's education journey began with an Hons degree in Psychology from the University of Strathclyde, which they pursued from 1993 to 1997.
