Jo Arendt

Jo Arendt has extensive experience in the banking and financial sector. They are currently working as the Head of Mortgage Operations at Virgin Money since September 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Secured Credit Risk at Virgin Money from March 2022 to September 2023. Before joining Virgin Money, Jo worked at HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management from June 2017 to March 2022, where they held the position of UK Head of Retail Credit Underwriting. They also worked at Nationwide Building Society and The Mortgage Works as the Head of Underwriting from March 2014 to June 2017. Additionally, Jo held the role of Head of Mortgage Operations at West Bromwich Building Society from January 2013 to March 2014. They also served as the Divisional Risk Operations & Service Manager at Banco Santander from 2012 to January 2013 and Senior Manager, Mortgage Credit Risk at Lloyds Banking Group from October 2008 to January 2012. Prior to this, they worked as an Operations Manager at C&G from October 2003 to October 2008, where they were responsible for mortgage application processing and managed teams of 150 employees.
