Brett Eater

Brett Eater has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Brett currently holds the position of Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer at CM Regent Insurance Company since December 2020. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Underwriting at Cameron Mutual Insurance Company from August 2017 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for directing daily underwriting activities, developing underwriting strategies, and implementing a new policy administration system. Before joining Cameron Mutual, Brett held various roles at Hallmark Financial Services Inc., including Senior Director of Product Development and Vice President of Underwriting. Brett also worked at Millers Mutual Group as an Assistant Vice President, where they managed underwriting operations and was responsible for marketing and agency services. Brett'searly career includes positions at Selective Insurance as a Technical Support Specialist and Underwriter.

Brett Eater holds a BA degree in Management from Moravian University (1994-1998). Brett also has an AU degree in Associate in Commercial Underwriting from the Insurance Institute of America (2000-2003). In addition, Brett obtained an MS degree in Leadership and Information Technology from Duquesne University (2006-2009). Brett further obtained CRIS certification in Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist from the International Risk Management Institute (2010-2011), and AFIS certification in Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist from the same institute (2017-2018).
