Andrew Vrabel

Andrew Vrabel is a seasoned regulatory professional currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Regulatory Officer at CME Group since April 2008. In this role, Andrew leads a diverse team of 150 experts in market surveillance, investigations, and regulatory compliance, focused on preserving market integrity and fulfilling self-regulatory obligations. Prior to this, Andrew held various key positions including Executive Director, Global Head of Investigations, and Senior Director, Associate General Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of trading practices, regulatory reviews, and strategic initiative support. Andrew began his career in legal roles such as Senior Director, Regional Head of Enforcement, and Market Regulation Attorney, complemented by experience as an Assistant States Attorney and a Merchant at Cargill. Andrew holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and is an alumnus of the University of Illinois System.
