Ramana Akula

Ramana Akula is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at CME Group since November 2021, Ramana previously held roles at CME Group as Director of Software Engineering and Execution Manager from August 2009 to 2021. Ramana's earlier positions include Engineering Manager at Westell Technologies, Inc., Integration Manager at WMS Gaming, Inc., and Senior Member of Technical Staff at Tellabs Operations, Inc. Additionally, consultancy experience was gained at Logistic Solutions, Inc., and software development expertise was honed at Wipro Systems, Ltd. Ramana holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University, an MS in Computer Science from DePaul University, and a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
