Derek Thompson

Derek Thompson has worked in the engineering field since 2015. Derek began their career as a Hydraulic Technician for Maximum Performance Hydraulics Inc and Rapp Marine U.S. in 2015. In 2018, they gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Siemens. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Maple Systems, Inc. as an Application Engineer and Technical Support Engineer. Derek is currently employed as a Robotics System Engineer at CMES Robotics Inc.

Derek Thompson attended Community Colleges of Spokane from 2013 to 2014. Derek then moved to Everett Community College from 2015 to 2017. Finally, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Washington State University from 2017 to 2019.
