Russell Burns

Russell Burns currently serves as the Director of Software Engineering at CMG Financial, focusing on the development of the next-generation mortgage point of sale experience since June 2023. Prior to this role, Russell worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer at CI&T, where new web applications were built, and legacy applications were optimized. Russell also has experience as a Front End Engineer and Software Engineer at loanDepot, where expertise in Full Stack development was applied, along with back-end work in C# and .NET as an Associate Software Engineer. Other notable positions include Software Developer Consultant at Callaway Golf, Owner of Burns Tutoring, and various coaching roles in volleyball.
