Samantha South

Sr. Product Designer at CMG

Samantha South has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2007, they started their career at Starbucks Coffee Company as a Barista, where they provided excellent customer service and prepared drinks. Samantha then moved on to work as a Design Editor Assistant at The State Press, collaborating with editors on the layout of the student newspaper and website.

In 2014, Samantha joined Splinter Creative as a Design Intern, where they conducted research, created designs, and prepared projects for print. Samantha later transitioned into a regular Designer role at the same company, responsible for creating visually impactful design solutions that align with strategic objectives.

In 2015, Samantha worked as an Interaction Designer at ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, followed by a role as a Sr. UX/UI Designer at IntraEdge. In these positions, they analyzed existing products, developed innovative user interfaces, and solved complex design problems within brand and business guidelines.

Most recently, Samantha joined CMG (Capital Markets Gateway) in 2022 as a Sr. Product Designer.

Samantha South attended Bishop Manogue Catholic High School, although their degree and field of study are unknown. After completing high school, they pursued further education at TMCC from 2008 to 2011, obtaining an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Graphic Communication. Following that, Samantha attended Arizona State University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Design (BSD) with a specialization in Visual Communication Design (Graphic Design).
