Mark Gunyuzlu

Mark Gunyuzlu is the Senior VP Americas at CML Microsystems. Mark has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and has held various executive positions during their career.

Gunyuzlu started their career at CML Microsystems Inc/CML Microcircuits (USA) in 1999 as the President. Mark was responsible for the P&L and all aspects of finance, HR, legal/regulatory, and operations. Mark successfully doubled sales over the first three years while also improving the overall gross profit margin. Using Lean Six Sigma Principles, they eliminated waste and optimized workflow resulting in a 20% reduction in direct product cost. Mark also led the organization through ISO 9000 registration as well as ERP/MRP/MES implementation. Mark drove the M&A pipeline in the Americas, shaping wireless product line strategy for the Group. Mark also guided the organization successfully through multiple industry downturn cycles without losing key staff.

In 2004, they joined Hyperstone as the President. Mark was responsible for launching, staffing, and building the Hyperstone Brand (leading supplier of flash memory controllers and 32 bit RISC processors for embedded systems) in the USA. Mark achieved 66% compound annual revenue growth over the first 7 years. Mark was also a key member of CML Group Global Management Team with overall responsibility for the Americas. Hyperstone was successfully divested in 2021 at 8 times their acquisition cost.

Mark Gunyuzlu's educational career includes earning a Master of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Delaware.
