Matthew Thorpe, a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE), boasts extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management across various sectors including medical devices, aerospace, and oil field technology. Currently serving as Procurement Manager at CMR Surgical, Matthew is instrumental in advancing robotic surgery solutions. Prior roles include Senior Supplier Manager at Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, where Matthew led supplier management initiatives, and Manufacturing & Supply Chain Director at Tendeka, where Matthew developed global manufacturing strategies. Matthew's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering from Northumbria University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hatfield Polytechnic.
