Moo Hyeong Lee

Moo Hyeong Lee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their career in 2007 as an Infantry Platoon Leader in the Republic of Korea Army. They later served as a Battalion Personnel Staff Officer, where they were responsible for administrative tasks and budget planning for a military base.

In 2009, Moo Hyeong Lee worked as a Liaison Officer for the United Nations Interim Forces In Lebanon (UNIFIL).

From 2012 to 2015, they held positions as a Military Training Commander and a Company Commander in the 20th Mechanized Infantry Division.

In 2016, they transitioned to academia and became an Assistant Professor of Military English at the Korea Military Academy. They played a vital role in enhancing the English proficiency of over 1,000 cadets and participated in department research.

From 2018 to 2022, Moo Hyeong Lee worked for the Combined Forces Command. During this time, they served as a Combined Operations Planner in the Combined Joint Operations Plans Branch and later as an Executive Officer and Secretary for the Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff.

In 2022, they joined CMT Capital Markets Trading and CMT Digital as an Operations Associate, where they are currently employed.

Moo Hyeong Lee has a diverse education history. In 2003, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master in Public Policy degree from Harvard Kennedy School between 2010 and 2012. In 2017, Moo Hyeong Lee enrolled in Kyungnam University and worked towards a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Political Science, although they have yet to complete the program (ABD). Additionally, they attended the Joint Forces Military University in 2016 to complete the Command and Staff College Certification.

In terms of more recent education, Moo Hyeong Lee attended the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago from 2021 to 2022, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance, General.

Apart from their formal education, Moo Hyeong Lee has obtained various certifications. Moo Hyeong obtained the Airborne Certification from the US Army in July 2005. Additionally, they hold a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo from Kukkiwon, earned in June 2003, and a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Judo from the Korea Judo Association, earned in June 2000.
