Paulo Pereira da Silva

Paulo Pereira da Silva is a Senior Financial Economist at CMVM since September 2004, focusing on studies of financial markets, valuation of structured products and derivatives, as well as developing methodologies for insider trading and market abuse detection. In addition to this role, Paulo has been a Professor at ISCAL - Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração de Lisboa since September 2018. Previous experience includes serving as a Statistician at INE from October 2002 to September 2003, where development of commerce and e-commerce indicators was a key responsibility, and as an Accountant at Eurovida from August 2001 to July 2002. Paulo Pereira da Silva holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Évora (2013-2017) and has completed multiple degrees and post-graduate studies at various institutions, including a Post-Graduation in Banking, Financial Regulation, and Supervision from Nova School of Business and Economics.
