Guy Austin

Guy Austin is an experienced operations executive in the film exhibition industry, currently serving as Vice President of Operations, Film and Content at CMX Cinemas since April 2021. In this role, Guy maintains crucial alliances with studio partners and content providers while negotiating product terms for theater exhibition. Prior to this, Guy held the position of Vice President of Operations and Alternative Content Booking at CMX Cinemas from 2007 to 2021, where responsibilities included optimizing operations and driving organizational growth. Guy's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Operations and Training at Century Theatres from 2000 to 2007, supervising general managers and overseeing staff development. Guy began his career as a General Manager at Harkins Theatres from 1994 to 1999. Educated at California State University and Southern New Hampshire University, Guy brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the film industry.
