Daniel S. Lawrence

Daniel S. Lawrence, PhD, is a seasoned researcher in criminology, law, and justice with extensive experience in various roles across prominent institutions. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at CNA Corporation since June 2021, Daniel's previous positions include Principal Research Associate and Senior Research Associate at the Urban Institute, along with a role as Research Criminologist at RTI International. Daniel's academic credentials include a PhD in Criminology, Law, and Justice from the University of Illinois Chicago, as well as a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in the same field from the same university and Northeastern University, respectively. Throughout a career that began in 2006, Daniel has contributed to numerous projects and research initiatives, establishing a strong foundation in evidence-based policy analysis within the criminal justice domain.
