Donald Cymrot

Donald Cymrot has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Donald began their career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1976 as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Instructor. In 1978, they joined Miami University as an Associate/Assistant Professor of Economics and worked there until 1985. Cymrot then transitioned to the field of research and joined CNA as a Research Team Leader in 1992. Donald later became the Managing Director of CNA Education from 1998 to 2009. In 2009, they moved to CNA Corporation, where they held the roles of Vice President and Director of Domestic Research until 2015. Currently, Cymrot is working as the Director of the Hillel Kepler Calendar Project, which examines the Hebrew calendar and its connection to Orthodox Jewish practice.

Donald Cymrot completed their undergraduate education at Lehigh University College of Business from 1968 to 1972. Donald earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics during this period. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Brown University from 1972 to 1978. During this time, they obtained a Ph.D. in Economics.
