Ty Roberson

Ty Roberson, MBA, is a seasoned professional in human research protection, currently serving as the Human Research Protection Program Manager at CNA Corporation since May 2019. In this role, Ty oversees and manages CNA’s Human Research Protection Program, ensuring compliance with federal regulations while supporting the Institute of Public Research and the Federally Funded Research and Development Center contract with the Office of Naval Research. Prior experience includes managing 23 human subject protection scientists at General Dynamics and holding multiple positions at the University of Maryland, among others. Ty holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Animal Sciences from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
