Vincent Bauer

Vincent Bauer is a Senior Research Scientist in the Data Science Division at CNA Corporation, with extensive experience leading teams to support high-priority projects for the Navy and Marine Corps. Bauer specializes in developing cloud-based computing tools, establishing machine learning pipelines, and producing actionable recommendations based on advanced analytics. In addition to current responsibilities, Bauer serves as a Data Science Consultant for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, forecasting mass killing risks, and has a history of consulting for various organizations. Previous roles include Peace and Security Fellow at the United States Institute of Peace and Adjunct Policy Analyst at RAND Corporation. Bauer holds a PhD in Political Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Arabic Language from the University of Chicago.
