Priyanka Sharma

Priyanka Sharma is the current General Manager at the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Priyanka has held this position since May of 2020. Prior to that, they were a Member of The Governing Board at CNCF from December of 2018 to May of 2020. In that role, they were responsible for marketing and other business oversight and budget decisions for CNCF. From March of 2016 to December of 2018, they were a Contributor for OpenTracing and Jaeger Tracing. OpenTracing is an API standard that makes it easier for companies to implement distributed tracing. Jaeger Tracing is open source, end-to-end distributed tracing built by Uber Engineering.

Before their work at CNCF, Priyanka Sharma was the Head of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships at LightStep from March of 2016 to June of 2018. Prior to that, they were an Enthusiastic entrepreneur at their own startup from September of 2014 to March of 2016. And before that, they were in Product Marketing at Outright (A GoDaddy Company) from September of 2012 to August of 2014.
