Michael Youssef has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Michael began their career in 2004 as a Project Specialist at CARANA Corporation, where they managed several USAID funded programs. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Management Sciences for Development, Inc., responsible for producing project deliverables and assisting with subcontract selection and evaluation.
In 2010, Youssef joined Global Development Associates, Inc as a Partner and Business Development & Marketing Manager until 2017, contributing to their business development initiatives. At the same time, they worked as an Analyst at Howrey LLP from 2010 to 2011.
In 2012, Youssef joined Deloitte Consulting as an Associate, providing project management support for USAID projects such as the REFORMA Project and The Trade Project in West Bank. Michael managed subcontractor relationships, coordinated staffing, and reviewed financial reports and vendor invoices.
Starting from 2014, Youssef worked at Counterpart International, first as a Program Officer for USAID's CADRE Program, managing a $30 million civil society strengthening program in Egypt. Michael then transitioned to the role of a Talent Acquisition Specialist and later became a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Currently, Youssef is employed at Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA) as the Director of International Recruitment, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Associate Director of International Recruitment from 2021 to 2023 and as a Senior International Recruiter from 2017 to 2021.
Michael Youssef attended Cairo American College until the year 2000. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the George Mason University - School of Business, completing their studies in 2004.
