Veriko Khomeriki currently serves as the Business Service Provider Manager, Inclusion Manager, and Grants Analyst for the USAID Agriculture Program at Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA) since November 2018. Previous positions include Invited Lecturer on Risk Management in Agribusiness at the Agricultural University of Georgia and Founding Board Member at Triesdorf Agribusiness Cooperation. Veriko has also worked as a Climate Smart Agriculture Consultant and National Specialist on Early Warning Systems and Disaster Risk Reduction/Management in Agriculture for the FAO. Additional experience includes roles as Agriculture and Rural Development Specialist at the Caucasus Environmental NGO Network (CENN) and Supply Chain Consultant for the USAID-funded project at Palladium: Make It Possible. Earlier in the career, Veriko was an Agriculture Development Specialist at TBC Bank and a Senior Specialist at the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia. Veriko holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Agriculture, Agriculture Operations, and Related Sciences from the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf.
