Emma Cook is an accomplished research professional with extensive experience in immunobiology and environmental health. Currently serving as the Research Laboratory Manager at the Immunobiology Lab of the CNIC, Emma has also held positions as a Visiting Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Complutense University of Madrid, focusing on the role of type 1 conventional dendritic cells in metabolic dysfunction. Previous research roles include investigating circadian rhythm regulation and lipid metabolism, along with internships in molecular cell biology and immunotoxicology. Emma's educational background includes a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Amsterdam, a Master of Science in Toxicology and Environmental Health from Utrecht University, and a Licenciatura in Environmental Sciences from Universidad de Alcalá.
