Carrie Stevenson is an accomplished executive producer with extensive experience in news and special events programming, currently serving as the Executive Producer for both Special Events Programming and State of the Union at CNN since June 2014. Previously, Stevenson was the Executive Producer for POLITICO LIVE, where original web and TV content was developed, and coverage of the 2012 Presidential Conventions was planned and overseen. Stevenson's earlier roles include consulting as the Executive Producer for The Gayle King Show at OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, managing the development and production of a startup talk show, and serving as Vice President and Senior Supervising Producer for Larry King Live at CNN, where operational leadership was demonstrated over a substantial team and budget. Stevenson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Politics from The Catholic University of America.
