Kayla Tausche

Kayla Tausche is a seasoned journalist currently serving as the Senior White House Correspondent for CNN since July 2023. Previously, Tausche spent over a dozen years at CNBC, where roles included Anchor and Senior White House Correspondent, leading coverage of the Biden administration, and Washington Correspondent, reporting on the Trump administration. With experience as the co-anchor of “Squawk Alley” and as a correspondent covering critical news on Wall Street and Silicon Valley, Tausche has established a strong reputation in political and business reporting. Earlier career highlights include serving as Assistant Editor at DealReporter, where management of a journalist team focused on European hedge fund clients, and reporting for Bloomberg LP and The Associated Press. Tausche holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and International Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
