Stephanie Busari

Stephanie Busari is a seasoned journalist currently serving as the Senior Africa Editor at CNN since September 2022. With a robust background at CNN from February 2008 to June 2022, key roles included leading the multiplatform bureau and supervising Africa's digital content strategy. Achievements include expanding CNN International's digital presence in Africa and earning the Hollywood Gracie Award for exclusive coverage regarding the kidnapped Chibok girls. Other professional experiences include founding TEDxBrixton, working as a freelance Broadcast Journalist for BBC News, and holding editorial positions at First Magazine and the Daily Mirror. Stephanie holds a BA in French and Public Media from Leeds Trinity & All Saints University and has studied at the University of Rennes.
