Adam R. Goss

Adam R. Goss is a seasoned geoscientist and business development manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Manager of New Ventures Latin America at CNOOC International since August 2022, Adam leads a multi-disciplinary project team to evaluate new exploration opportunities in Central and South America. Previously, Adam spent over eight years at BHP, where various roles included Exploration Manager for Growth New Basins and Director of Access, demonstrating significant contributions to global exploration strategies and executing successful project initiatives across multiple regions. Adam's earlier career includes positions at ExxonMobil, focusing on geoscientific research and prospect evaluation, and a postdoctoral role at the University of Florida. Adam holds a Ph.D. in Geology from Cornell University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University.
