Duncan Petrie - Miema

Duncan Petrie, MIEMA, CEnv, PCQI, is a seasoned professional in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Assurance (HSEQ) with extensive experience in the offshore and onshore sectors. Currently serving as a Senior HSE&A Specialist at CNOOC International since February 2020, Duncan has held various roles including HSE Team Lead for Projects and Onshore HSE Specialist. Previous positions include QHSE Advisor at CAN (Offshore) Ltd, Permitting Officer at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, and HSEQ Advisor at Harkand, where responsibilities encompassed developing HSEQ systems, monitoring compliance, and conducting audits. Duncan holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management and Technology from The Open University and an HND in Design and Visual Communications from North East Scotland College.
