Paul Beilby

Paul Beilby has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Vice President of Business Development for Europe and Africa at CNOOC International since October 2014. Previously held the role of Senior Technical Advisor in Business Development at the same company. Paul Beilby worked at Nexen Inc. and Nexen Petroleum UK Ltd. from 2004 to October 2014 as a Senior Reservoir Engineer and gained further experience as a Senior Reservoir Engineer with Canadian Natural Resources Limited from 2000 to 2003, and as a Reservoir Engineer at ARCO from 1997 to 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, along with ongoing studies in Financial Analysis for Non-Financial Managers at INSEAD set for completion in December 2024.
