Peter Wills

Peter Wills is a highly experienced drilling professional currently serving as the Night Drilling Supervisor at CNOOC International, overseeing a 4 well infill drilling campaign on the Golden Eagle. With a strong background in offshore drilling operations, Peter previously held the same title at Ithaca Energy, where responsibilities included managing a 7 Well Subsea abandonment and 3 Well Batch drilling campaigns. Prior to that, a transition to an offshore leadership role was made after a few years of consulting with TAQA Group, where platform-based abandonment projects were completed. Peter's expertise extends to performance improvement project management at EXCEED, operations management at Hess Corporation, and engineering roles at Heerema Marine Contractors and Schlumberger. Educational qualifications include a BEng (Honours) in Industrial Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and Stellenbosch University.
