Nick Ligtenbarg

Nick Ligtenbarg has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Night Drilling Supervisor, Drilling Engineer, and Reservoir Engineer at Equinor since October 2014, working on the Oseberg and Veslefrikk offshore fields with over 1 billion barrels of oil in place. Prior to this role, Nick worked as a Research Engineer at Schlumberger, focusing on hydraulic fracturing fluids as part of a Master's thesis. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Earth Sciences and Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both obtained from Delft University of Technology, as well as completion of the International Baccalaureate at Isendoorn College.
