Christelle Pierkot

Christelle Pierkot is an experienced professional in the fields of data management, geoinformatics, and open science. Currently serving as the Head of the EaSy Data and Earth Portal services and Technical Coordinator of the EOSC FAIR-EASE project at CNRS since January 2021, Christelle is responsible for national data repositories and the application of open science principles. Previously, roles included research engineering at Université de Montpellier focusing on data management practices and open science, postdoctoral research at Université Paul Valéry on geospatial projects, and teaching positions in computer science and geoinformatics at various universities. Christelle holds a Doctorate in Computer Science with a specialization in Geomatics from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and has contributed to multiple research initiatives and educational endeavors.
