Julien's doctoral research at COMPAGNIE FRUITIERE included the development of methodologies to leverage data from banana plantations for crop management and involved extensive spatial analyses. Early professional experiences include modeling carbon assimilation in oil palms at CIRAD and hydrosedimentary dynamics near the Chinon nuclear power plant at EDF R&D. Julien holds an engineering degree in Agronomy from L'Institut Agro Montpellier and participated in an exchange program at Universidad de Talca focused on geomatics and environmental economics.
