Mehdi Bouzid is a CNRS Researcher at the CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique since November 2020, previously serving as a postdoctoral researcher from September 2017 to June 2020, focusing on the mechanical properties of biopolymer networks. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Georgetown University (December 2014 - June 2017), investigating the mechanical properties of soft solids, and a PhD in Physics from ESPCI (September 2011 - November 2014) studying rheophysics of dense granular media. Mehdi Bouzid has also held positions as a teaching assistant at Université Paris Diderot and completed internships at École normale supérieure and Institut des NanoSciences de Paris, contributing to research in mechanical instability of gels and the growth and properties of nanocomposite films. Academic qualifications include a PhD in soft condensed matter from Université Paris Cité and a Research Master Degree in Theoretical Physics of Complex Systems from Paris 6, Paris 7, and Paris 11.
