Sophie Pochic

Sophie Pochic is a Directrice de recherche at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique, leading the Centre Maurice Halbwachs in Paris, where involvement spans various roles, including Responsable d'équipe and Chargée de recherche. Since 2006, Pochic has contributed to the LASMAS and CMH. Pochic is also a member of the scientific council for the Chaire Femmes & Sciences and serves on the editorial board for the Revue Travail, Genre et Sociétés. As a Chargée d'enseignement at EHESS, Pochic has participated in multiple seminars and has been involved in supervising Master's and Doctoral theses. Additional roles include being an expert at the Haut Conseil à l'Égalité between women and men, contributing to the LIEPP research program on equal pay policies, and participating in various committees related to gender equality and labor studies. Pochic holds advanced degrees in sociology from Sciences Po and Aix-Marseille University.
