Aviv Day

Aviv Day has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Aviv started their career as a Soldier in the Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200, where they worked closely with the Israeli air forces and delivered accurate information efficiently. Aviv then transitioned to become a Fullstack Web Developer within the same organization, showcasing their skills in front-end and back-end development.

In 2018, Aviv joined Aman Group as a Fullstack Web Developer, where they continued to enhance their web development expertise. Here, they worked for two years before moving on to their next role.

Currently, Aviv is the Fullstack Team Lead at cnvrg.io. As a hands-on team lead, they manage a team of 3-6 developers and 4 QA professionals. In addition to their managerial responsibilities, Aviv also leads the frontend and full stack development for the company. Aviv emphasizes a human-first approach and focuses on ensuring consistent feature releases and improvements for production.

Aviv Day has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel, which was obtained by the end of 2026. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, Aviv Day attended the Weizmann Institute of Science and received a Diploma in Information System Design & Programming. Aviv also has additional certifications, including an Intelligence Course from Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps, obtained in July 2016, and a certification in Information System Design & Programming from the Weizmann Institute of Science, obtained in June 2015.
