Katie Urtnowski

Katie Urtnowski has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Katie started their career in 2002 as an Office Manager at Soundside Physical Therapy. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Recruitment Coordinator at Long Island University. Katie then served as a Practice Administrator at North Nassau Cardiology Associates from 2005 to 2007.

In 2008, Katie joined ShelterPoint Life Insurance as an Executive Assistant, where they were involved in various internal initiatives and provided administrative support to senior executives. Katie later became the Manager of Executive Administration & EPO at ShelterPoint, overseeing project progress and participating in strategy development until 2014.

From 2014 to 2017, Katie worked at the Urban Justice Center as the Director of Administration, responsible for overseeing business support functions. Katie managed multiple offices, budgeting, and provided support to the Executive Director.

Since 2017, Katie has been with CNY Group, initially as the Director of Organizational Development and later on as the Vice President of People & Culture. In their current role, they lead HR and Administration for the commercial construction management company, managing two departments and reporting directly to the President/CEO.

Throughout their career, Katie has demonstrated strong leadership skills, the ability to manage teams, and a focused approach to aligning projects with corporate strategies.
